Bitters

The salt and pepper of a cocktail or mocktail. Bitters lift and enhance flavours already present, or help bind flavours together for a more balanced beverage. Manitoba Aromatic bitters are made using flavours found in Manitoba including rhubarb, sea buckthorn birch bark, dandelion root and milk thistle. More earthy and fruity than bitter, this pair well with dark rum, tiki drinks and sangrias. Lavender bitters are excellent in sours as they pull out the inherent sweetness of the citrus. They also pair well with gins or more botanical spirits. Cranberry Rosemary pairs well with gin or bourbon. Herbal rosemary and tart cranberry add depth to classic drinks like the gin and tonic, martini or a manhattan. Hot Pepper bitters are made with a fresh assortment of peppers including habanero, jalapeno and thai red peppers. Excellent in tequila or mezcal based drinks or in a caesar.
